Greetings Church24Seven,
I would like to share with you some important tools I have learned in life. Hopefully they will help you to foster hope in difficult times.
May God bless you and keep you!

Fostering Hope
In a time of changing needs, financial recession, and health challenges, fostering hope becomes an extremely important factor in having a quality life.

Identifying Goals

My immediate family is my number one priority. My husband and our four children are the most important part of my life. I want to be successful and I want them to excel also. I do my best to encourage my children to make the most of their academic career and remember to put God first in their lives. The bible says to Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it  (Prov. 22:6).
My husband changed careers after 20 years of video production. He is now working in the field of law enforcement. My current goal is to help him make the transition by giving him my support and attention along with working on my academic and music career. Change can be difficult, but we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us (Phil. 4:13). As the woman of the house I realize that in strengthening and encouraging my husband and children I, myself am strengthened and encouraged.

Implementing Optimism

Implementing optimism has been extremely important to me, being a two-time breast cancer survivor. I lost all of my hair during chemotherapy in 2006. I used this difficult time to try new large earrings, make-up and wigs. I constantly remind myself that cancer is not a death sentence. It has been 14 years since the first diagnosis and March 3, 2011 marked 5 years for the second. I have a very positive outlook on life because I have learned that worrying serves no purpose. Worrying doesn’t make us taller, smarter, nor does it change anything, it only makes us weaker, sicker, and more depressed. No matter how rough things get, I believe God knows what I can handle, so I keep forging ahead. I am not alone!
So far in life, identifying goals and learning optimism has increased the level of hope for my family. I (we) plan to continue down the current path making adjustments to our goals when necessary. Staying focused on our goals while yet being flexible is the key to being hopeful. Satan continues to put obstacles in our paths, but with God on side we are move than conquerors.
Putting God First + Identifying Goals + Implementing Optimism  = Brighter Days Ahead!

Prayer
Prayer changes things! We are in a war against the enemy and we need to remember to pray for another on a regular basis.  And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint. Luke 18:1. We find strength, healing, and comfort when we go to God in prayer. I say this simple prayer for my family and friends.
A Prayer for my loved ones,
I speak life, hope, peace, a deeper commitment and a closer walk with the Lord, success, health, and wealth.  I rebuke the curses that the enemy has used to plague us: cancer, high Bp, diabetes, pain, and all manner of sickness. I rebuke financial reversal, poverty, struggling churches, failed businesses, lost jobs, lack of promotion, last to be hired/first to be fired.
I rebuke depression, stress, discouragement, adversity, confusion, strife, headache and heartache, trauma and drama. I release from heaven above: blessings, healings (spiritual, emotional, and physical), forgiveness, salvation, forbearance, love, and patience. I wish above ALL things that my family and friends will prosper and be in health even as your soul prospers. In Jesus name, Amen.

The Power Of The Holy Ghost!
March 28, 1977 was when my first encounter with the baptism of the Holy Ghost. My father became very ill, and asked my sisters and I to pray with him. I began to pray to myself, and I said, "Lord I have a already lost my mother (in 1972) and I will do anything for my father to be healed."

Instantaneously, the Holy Spirit filled our living room and I began to speak in tongues as the Spirit gave utterance, and at the same time the Lord healed my father. He went onto live another three years, and he was there to see me graduate from high school, What a Mighty God we serve!

The power of the Holy Ghost is still the same, healing, refilling, restoring, etc. All you need to do is surrender you all to the Lord.

If ye love me, keep my commandments. And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever: John 14:15-16

Ignoring One Another

It's funny (sad) how the same people who say they love you can ignore you. A person who ignores his or her spouse displays more cruelty than one who argues with their spouse. I am so glad God does not ignore us, He rescues us when we are in trouble, He soothes us when we are stressed out, and he lifts us when we are down. He loves us, even when we don't deserve His love.
The way the world knows that we are God's sons and daughters is by the way we show love to each other. So stop ignoring you brother and your sister, and try encouraging, supporting, uplifting, and complimenting brother and your sister. If there is something wrong, try to make it right. If there is something you don't understand, ask questions. If you don’t agree, just remember that there is 50/50 chance that you could be wrong…unless, of course, you are God!
For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Hebrews 4:15

God’s Love

I remember (I am sure you do as well) gazing in the sky looking at the various cloud formations. Sometimes I could see shapes that looked like a car, a house, or a dog. The picture here shows a heart in the in the clouds, which reminds me of how much God loves us all.
God’s love is awesome! He loves me so much that I feel His love each moment of the day. He protects me from the storm and from all harm.  He supplies all of my need, and He also gives me the desires of my heart (not my mind). He heals me, and He directs my path. God is always here for me. He makes me feel so special when He gives me bountiful blessings. God shows me how important I am to Him when He dries my tears, and encourages my soul.

The thing that makes God’s love so awesome is that the world’s population is currently estimated to be 6.91 billion, but He can be there for each person just like He is for me every moment of everyday. Unfortunately millions do not acknowledge Him as being the true and living God, so they do not realize how much they are loved.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16 (KJV)

Faith is the key to believing that God is real.  So believe that God is and you will receive His unlimited love.

March 13, 2011 7:15 AM  Greetings Church24Seven,We serve an awesome God! The lord woke me again this morning before I had planned to get up today. I said I was going to sleep in, but of course, I couldn’t stay in bed past 6:30 AM.
I would like to tell you that I woke up with happy thoughts; thoughts of God’s love and His kindness, thoughts of sharing messages that will make everyone feel warm and fuzzy inside, but that wasn’t the case. I woke up from a dream that brought about stress and sadness. Today the word is OBEDIENCE. Obedience to God is of the utmost importance. Most of us know by now that it is better to be obedient than to sacrifice. Samuel said, Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams. 1Sam.15: 22. (KJV). Sacrifice today does not usually come in the form of animal, but whether it is possessions, freedom, or wellbeing, we still have to give something up due to the lack of obedience.

I have to be obedient to God, even when it is not convenient. Obedience involves accountability to God first and foremost. We also need to be accountable to each other; none of us are above the law.

My dream I mentioned before involved witnessing an act of coercion in the area of homosexuality. There are many types of works of the flesh that go against God’s law, but homosexuality goes against the laws of nature. The spirit of homosexuality has caused division in our nation and our world, inside and outside of the church; it is a stronghold that has destroyed marriages, families, churches, and the lives of so many. Satan has worked overtime to close the eyes and ears of so many individuals because he knows his time is winding down. As Christians, our duty is to spread the truth, in love. Like God, we do not hate the individual. But also like God, we cannot excuse the sin. Homosexuality is just one type of the many types of sin that separates man from God. Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. Gal.5:19-21.

My concern is not trying to control what other people do, because everyone has a choice. Some may choose not to please God, but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD Joshua 24:15. I rebuke the spirit of homosexuality and every other form of sin and disobedience. My husband and myself will continue to show our children the way of the Lord. The bible says, Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it. Prov. 22:6.  Obedience better than sacrifice: God is not looking for a dead bird or a burnt lamb. Jesus was the “Perfect” sacrifice, so we do not need to “offer” up a dead animal. However, we can offer up the sacrifice of praise, and offer our bodies as a living sacrifice holy, acceptable to God, which is our reasonable service.
Rom. 12:1. May God Bless you and Keep you!

 Greetings Church24Seven,

The Lord is high and lifted up yet he is still touchable! I praise Him because he is worthy to be praised. I love Him because He first loved me. Oh, what wonderful God we serve.  Worship with me as I (and the SPBC Praise Team) give the Lord praise!

March 8, 2011: 6:46AM

Greetings Church24Seven,

Today is normally a day when I can sleep in a little longer (to about 6:30 a.m.), but the Lord woke me up before 5:00 with prayer and praise! After an hour of being showered with blessings and positive thoughts from on high, I had to get up and write these things down!

The Lord said, “INCREASE.” We usually think of financial increase, and yes I am asking for a financial increase, but I am also asking an increase of peace, hope, love, patience, strength, stamina, and confidence (not to be confused with arrogance). I am asking for an increase in healing: of the mind, body, and soul, not only for myself, but everyone who is in need. Finally, I am asking the Lord to give me an increase in knowledge, understanding, wisdom, prudence, honesty, and integrity so I can fully and effectively lead souls to Christ!

Greetings Church24Seven,

WOW! God is good! When you expect the best, you get the best! Like I said, the Lord said INCREASE at 6:00 this morning (see above). I went to the mailbox at 3:00 this afternoon, and there was an unexpected check. Earlier today, I was thinking about how a dear lady named Sis. Miller and myself would check the mail for unexpected checks and we had our share of them. GOD WILL PROVIDE, so expect great things!
